About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our Customer Fulfillment Finance team at Amazon Deutschland Services GmbH. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and improving financial performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build strong relationships with business partners to influence and support tactical and strategic business decisions, driving business improvements and cost reductions.
  • Identify risks, evaluate impact, propose changes, and implement improvements to remediate gaps.
  • Understand the details of the cost structure to make thoughtful judgment calls in ambiguous environments where data may be difficult to procure.
  • Supervise and own the Financial and operational planning processes to produce a challenging/stretch/bold yet solid operational plan.

Our Customer Fulfillment team is the foundation of our business, handling over 1.5 million orders every day. We are a sophisticated global team that has scaled up from a humble team of booksellers to a team that is constantly improving and reimagining the logistics industry.

Requirements
  • Degree and solid work experience.
  • Experience and applied knowledge of Accounting and/or Financial concepts.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
  • SQL or any large-scale data mining and reporting tools (or willingness to learn).
  • Demonstrated business acumen while influencing and managing cross-functional relationships.
  • Willingness to support an unpopular opinion if it is in favor of the customer.
  • Passion for diving into the vast and complex details of productivity and cost measurements.
  • Detail oriented and a passion for data with the ability to accurately summarize and share the relevant details.
