Dry Docks Operations Controller

Job Summary
Carnival Maritime GmbH, a part of Carnival Corporation and plc, is seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Dry Docks Controller. This position is part of the company's marine service unit, serving AIDA Cruises and Costa Crociere brands.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Director Dry Docks & Guarantee and Superintendent Dry Docks in creating and monitoring the DD OPEX budget during dry dock preparation and execution.
- Prepare, monitor, and update the DD OPEX budget overview.
- Collaborate with the CMG and finance department during dry dock preparation and execution.
- Work closely with fleet teams, shipyards, and brands for cost monitoring during related projects as part of the dry dock program.
- Review, analyze, and negotiate requests for additional costs by shipyards and others during dry dock performance.
- Participate in yard times as part of the dry dock team and create reports, statistics, and analysis of yard processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in project management or a commercial area, preferably with marine or cruise industry experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in ship handling or shipyard business.
- Shipboard experience is an asset.
- Proficient IT skills at MS Office and project management skills.
- Experience in teamwork and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Very good knowledge of the English language, as it is the company's primary language.
