Job Title: Educational Consultant for School Counseling and Educational Management

Duties:

  • Provide individual counseling services to students, parents, and educational professionals on various issues such as learning development, exam anxiety, bullying, giftedness, handling psychological stress, etc.
  • Offer systemic counseling in schools to support professionals in various topics through workshops, training sessions, prevention projects, etc.
  • Focus on the area of school inclusion and develop strategies to promote inclusive education.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement counseling programs for students and teachers to address specific needs and challenges.
  • Collaborate with school administrators and teachers to create a supportive and inclusive school environment.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify best practices in school counseling and inclusion.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions and workshops for teachers and school staff on topics related to school counseling and inclusion.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to teachers and school staff to support their professional development.

Requirements:

  • Completed university degree in psychology, education sciences, rehabilitation sciences, sociology, social and behavioral sciences, social work, special education, or similar field.
  • Experience and knowledge in counseling and inclusion, with a focus on school-based settings.
  • Additional qualification in coaching or counseling is advantageous.
  • Experience working with teachers and schools, conducting class-specific support programs and training sessions is advantageous.
  • Experience and knowledge in academic research, e.g., in empirical research and evaluation, is advantageous.
  • Enjoyment of conceptual and process-oriented work.
  • Independent, results-oriented, and self-reliant work ethic.
  • High organizational skills.
  • Team player, friendly demeanor, and strong communication skills.
  • Proficient in Office programs.
  • Driver's license Class B required.

Compensation and Benefits:

Compensation according to personal qualifications and professional experience following the collective agreement for the public sector (TVöD-V) up to remuneration group 13 TVöD-V.
