Cybersecurity Strategist

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Cybersecurity Strategist to join our team at Palo Alto Networks. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in helping our customers navigate the complex world of cybersecurity and achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities- CISO Advocate: Develop and maintain deep knowledge of security frameworks and local cybersecurity regulations, and articulate Palo Alto Networks' ability to bring value to customers.
- Technical Knowledge: Integrate Palo Alto Networks' portfolio value into customers' cybersecurity transformation plans, addressing specific business challenges, and articulate high-level technical differentiation from the competition.
- Field Impact: Proactively help organizations understand their cyber risk landscape, create a business target architecture addressing their long-term cybersecurity strategies, and act as a trusted advisor for strategic customers.
- Market and Brand Impact: Deliver thought leadership content at marquee conferences, own customer executive advisory board motion, and leverage social media and PR engagements to influence the market.
- Past experience as a CSO/CISO in a large corporate enterprise, plus customer-facing experience in a vendor or consulting organization.
- Well-known in the region as a cybersecurity expert, with a vision for the cybersecurity future and the ability to bridge the gap between deep technical content and information that a C-level executive can digest.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German, interpersonal and collaborative skills, and the ability to communicate security and risk-related concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Security, Computer Science, Information Management Systems, or a related field, or equivalent military experience, with a minimum of 8+ years of experience in a combination of risk management, information security, and IT jobs.
