About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Security Expert for Software to join our team at TÜV Informationstechnik GmbH. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our software products and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough security assessments and testing of software products and systems to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses.
  • Develop and implement effective security measures to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with software developers and engineers to design and implement secure software development practices.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on software security best practices and risk management.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and trends, and develop and implement strategies to mitigate them.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in software security, with a strong understanding of security protocols and procedures.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in programming languages, such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks and standards, such as Common Criteria and ISO 15408.
