About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Front-End Software Engineer II to join our AWS Innovation Hub team in Germany. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces using modern frameworks and libraries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative frontend solutions.
  • Work with our team to integrate Generative AI capabilities into the frontend, enabling novel interaction patterns and user experiences.
  • Explore and prototype new frontend technologies and techniques to enhance the user experience and stay ahead of the curve.
  • Contribute clean, maintainable, and well-tested code to our existing codebase.
About the Team

You will be part of the Amazon Web Services Development Center Germany GmbH team, where we are pushing the boundaries of frontend development using the latest Amazon AI services and GenAI technologies. Our team is passionate about building intuitive user experiences and is committed to delivering high-quality solutions.

Requirements
  • Experience in professional front-end, web, or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Experience in computer science fundamentals, including object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem-solving, and complexity analysis.
  • Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and React.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in agile software development methodology.
  • Experience with common front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, and Node.
