About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer to join our team at Peter Park. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of car parking technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable, efficient, and secure backend systems using Python and NestJS.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Contribute to the improvement of our CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure provisioning on AWS.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying knowledge to improve our systems and processes.
Requirements
  • Strong experience in backend development using Python and NestJS.
  • Proficient in AWS cloud services, including Amazon RDS, DynamoDB, and S3.
  • Knowledge of container orchestration with Kubernetes and CI/CD using GitLab.
  • Experience with infrastructure provisioning on AWS using Terraform.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
