About the Role

Indra Avitech GmbH is a leading international developer of IT systems for the aviation industry, with a strong presence in over 55 countries worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • As a key member of our agile Scrum team, you will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining Indra Avitech product solutions for the aviation industry.
  • You will participate in the full development life cycle, from inception to testing, implementation, and support, using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology.
  • You will create API interfaces and business services for Aeronautical Application parts, ensuring high-quality and scalable code.
  • You will provide guidance to junior developers, conducting code reviews, pair programming, and preparing development tasks/tickets.
  • You will develop enterprise-quality code, using best practices, and take full ownership of your work, ensuring high standards as we scale.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a self-motivated engineer.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to produce high-quality code.
  • Subject matter expertise in infrastructure, hardware, software, database, and middleware stack.
  • Contribution to solutions design, creation, update, and improvement of product architecture, with a focus on optimizing product performance.
  • Relevant knowledge of best practices related to security, performance, and disaster recovery.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
