Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to join our team in Ulm. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for defining and implementing platform services to enable our developers. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and implementing cloud services
  • Developing holistic software modules
  • Supporting deployment and continuous integration and deployment processes
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
  • Ensuring DevOps and continuous improvement

As a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects and contribute to the development of our digital solutions. You will be part of a dynamic and agile team that values innovation and collaboration.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in software development
  • At least 3 years of experience in cloud mechanisms and tooling (Container, Kubernetes, Grafana, Prometheus, etc.) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Terragrunt, CLIs)
  • Proficiency in cloud and network technology and working with cloud providers (Azure, AWS, GCP)
  • Proficiency in developing cloud native frameworks like Terraform custom providers
  • Experience in software development with common programming languages like Java, C#, JavaScript, or Go
  • Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment and delivery
  • Familiarity with storage technologies and development of distributed software
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills in German and English
  • High degree of motivation and ability to collaborate in agile teams
