About the Project
We are seeking a highly motivated researcher to join our team in characterizing acid-sensing ion channels at the molecular, cellular, and organismal levels. Our goal is to understand the role of these channels in neurological diseases and develop novel therapeutic strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct electrophysiology experiments to study ion channel function and regulation
- Employ state-of-the-art molecular and chemical biology techniques to investigate ion channel biology
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve project goals
- Present research findings at international conferences and publish in top-tier journals
Requirements
- PhD or MD degree in a relevant field
- Strong background in electrophysiology or cell biology/microscopy/Ca2+ and pH imaging
- Experience with protein trafficking/subcellular fractionation or homology modeling/molecular docking is an asset
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Proficiency in spoken and written English (Level C2)
