We're looking for a Teamleiter Labor (m/w/d) in Aretsried (near Augsburg).
Your Role
- You'll organize an efficient laboratory workflow in close coordination with the laboratory management and be responsible for monitoring the food safety of the produced products.
- As a subject matter expert, you'll support and develop the laboratory technicians in the shift operation and serve as a contact person for technical questions from other departments.
- You'll oversee and organize monitoring of test materials and suitability tests, participate in sensor tests, and accompany the commissioning phases of new filling machines.
- In case of defects, you'll take charge of organizing the guidance and follow-up examination of the defective goods, creating the basis for further use of the goods.
- You'll be responsible for ensuring the adherence to quality requirements, prescribed hygiene standards, and occupational safety regulations within the team.
- You'll also be responsible for the care, testing, and evaluation of large-scale experiments.
Your Profile
- You have a completed vocational training as a dairy laboratory technician or a comparable laboratory training with experience in the food industry.
- It's ideal if you have at least 5 years of experience in microbiological and/or chemical-physical laboratory analysis.
- First experiences in professional leadership and a master's training are desirable.
- Your organizational skills and hands-on mentality ensure you always maintain an overview and drive topics proactively forward.
- You're willing to work occasional weekend shifts.
