Job Description:

At Amazon Development Center Germany GmbH, we're looking for a talented Sr Technical Program Manager-Berlin, Fire TV Experience to join our team. As a key member of our Fire TV organization, you will play a critical role in driving the development of our Live TV software foundations in Europe.

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Program Manager to lead the development of new components for our Live Middleware, ensuring timely and successful device launches. You will work closely with Product Managers and Software Development Managers to develop and implement features on Fire TV devices, focusing on improving the daily experience of millions of customers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Work with Product Managers and SDMs to develop new components needed for Live Middleware to deliver multiple device launches
- Dive deep into technical challenges related to scalability, reliability, performance of the middleware to work across multiple partners
- Deliver critical programs across many teams to make best in class Live TV experiences for our customers

About the Team:
We drive Fire TV customer experience (CX) by supporting Live TV software foundations in Europe (DE/EU). We own device customization and onboarding for new markets and regions required for building delightful Live TV experiences. This is a high visibility team which owns a key piece of Fire TV technology, and we have almost complete cross-functional ownership of our components and roadmap based in Berlin (we still rely on Seattle for UX support, and continue to have close interactions with partner teams).

Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management
- Experience leading highly technical programs involving infrastructure, complex systems, systems engineering
- Experience managing technical programs across crossfunctional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in technical program management working directly with software engineering teams
