Job Description

We are seeking a skilled worker:in for maintenance at DB InfraGO AG in Darmstadt. Your Responsibilities:
  • You are responsible for inspecting and maintaining components of the overhead line system and the remote control system for overhead line switchgear, ensuring safe, punctual, and economical operation.
  • You will perform your tasks reliably with your team in accordance with the valid regulations - primarily working outdoors.
  • You will be responsible for troubleshooting and rectifying individual components of the overhead line system using modern rail vehicles, equipment, and measuring instruments.
  • Your working day begins and ends at your central base, where you will be provided with the necessary materials and vehicles.
  • You will participate in our internal qualification program (including regular further training) to become an electrical craftsman:in for overhead line systems, rail track mechanics, or team leader:in.
Your Profile:
  • You have successfully completed a vocational training in the technical field (e.g., electrical engineer:in, mechatronics engineer:in, automotive mechatronics engineer:in, industrial mechanic:in, or a comparable qualification).
  • You bring engagement and a willingness to learn to participate in the internal qualification program.
  • You are willing to work in shifts (night, weekend, and holiday work) and participate in the on-call duty.
  • You feel comfortable working outdoors and at heights.
  • Your physical fitness is a prerequisite and will be checked as part of the selection process by a company doctor.
  • You hold a valid driving license class B.
