As a Chief Data Architect at SR2 | Socially Responsible Recruitment | Certified B Corporation™, you will play a key role in shaping our team's data infrastructure and driving impactful climate solutions.
We are seeking an experienced data engineer who can design and implement scalable, efficient data processing and analysis systems tailored for our cutting-edge plasma reactor technology. You will work closely with our development team to contribute to data pipelines and workflow development, database management, and user interface development.
Key Responsibilities:- Data Pipelines and Workflow Development: Design and implement robust data pipelines and workflow environments to support our innovative research.
- Database Management: Ensure the smooth operation and high availability of our systems through database optimization and administration.
- User Interface Development: Create intuitive graphical user interfaces to facilitate data visualization and user interaction.
- Proven Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in building and managing data pipelines and workflow environments.
- Database Skills: Expertise in database administration and optimization, with knowledge of relational databases and NoSQL databases.
- Front-End Development: Experience with graphical user interface development using modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Educational Background: A Master's degree in computer science, IT, business informatics, or a related field; basic understanding of MSR (measurement, control, regulation) is a plus.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Ability to work across various domains and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
- Strong Interpersonal Skills: Calm under pressure, with a proactive approach and a knack for new challenges.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent English required; German is beneficial.
- Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
