About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Software Engineer to join our team at softgarden e-recruiting gmbh. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and unit testing robust APIs and backend services using Java EE.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-quality backend services and APIs using Java EE
  • Collaborate with architects, testers, product managers, and other teams to deliver top-notch solutions
  • Engage in architectural discussions and contribute to innovation by employing strong problem-solving skills
  • Actively participate in setting quarterly OKRs to align with our mission and goals
Requirements
  • Proficient in Java programming language and Java EE
  • Experience with MySQL or similar databases
  • Strong knowledge of JUnit, Mockito, Testcontainer, and REST assured or related tools
  • Experience with Maven and Docker
  • Sound understanding of RESTful principles and distributed systems
  • Proven track record in Agile development processes
