Job Description

As a Senior Network Infrastructure Specialist at Infineon Technologies, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our global network infrastructure. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide expert technical support to provision, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and configuration issues on network infrastructure for LAN, WLAN, WAN, NAC, and Firewall.
  • Incident Resolution: Resolve incident tickets and change requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Perform preventive maintenance and performance tuning on network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
  • Documentation: Document operational processes and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.
  • Collaboration: Liaise with application groups on various projects and other system support requirements.
  • Project Participation: Participate in projects and new setups, such as site expansion projects, to define and provision network design, active, and passive network infrastructure.
  • On-Call Support: Provide on-call support to ensure 24/7 network availability.
  • Team Collaboration: Work in a team with local experts and in a global virtual team to achieve common goals.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Network equivalent experience preferred.
  • Experience: 3 years of network experience preferred.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of Network and IT Standards, concepts, and technology.
  • Certification: CCNA or CCNP Certification will be an advantage.
  • Language: Must be able to read, write, and speak German and English fluently, including technical concepts and terminology.
