Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled System Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our network infrastructure, implementing security measures, and optimizing system performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and analyze network performance to identify areas for improvement
  • Implement and maintain security protocols to protect against cyber threats
  • Configure and manage firewalls to ensure secure data transmission
  • Optimize system performance to ensure minimal downtime
  • Install, maintain, and repair servers to ensure seamless operation
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent system failures
  • Collaborate with the development team to design and implement new infrastructure
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security patches and updates to ensure system integrity
Requirements
  • Proven experience with network protocols and TCP/IP
  • Strong knowledge of VLANs, sub-netting, and routing
  • Experience with firewall configuration and management
  • Ability to monitor and analyze network performance
  • Understanding of VPNs and remote access
  • Programming and scripting skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Fluency in German (C1 level or higher)
