About the LCSB

The Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine (LCSB) is an interdisciplinary research centre of the Université du Luxembourg, focusing on neurodegenerative processes and diseases such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's.

We conduct fundamental and translational research in the field of Systems Biology and Biomedicine, with a strong emphasis on interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team and contribute to the development of a new drug for the treatment of Parkinson's disease.

The successful candidate will be involved in extensive experimental work, including cellular and molecular analyses, and will have the opportunity to work closely with international partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research independently and contribute to the project objectives
  • Develop and implement innovative research proposals
  • Collaborate with international partners and contribute to the development of a new drug for Parkinson's disease
Requirements
  • PhD in Neurosciences, Cell Biology or related fields
  • Experience in working with cell-based models and cellular/molecular biology techniques
  • Proven ability to conduct research independently and reach project objectives
