Electrical Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at IFCO Management GmbH. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for our track and trace technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements for electrical hardware
  • Lead the design and development of electrical systems at suppliers
  • Validate and approve electrical hardware for IFCO use cases
  • Develop minimum viable products for track and trace, both hardware and software
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in Internet-of-Things (IoT)

Requirements:

  • University degree in electrical engineering or computer science
  • Several years of experience in hardware development, preferably in track and trace technologies/Internet-of-things
  • Excellent knowledge of wireless technologies (RFID, Bluetooth, Bluetooth Low Energy, 5G networks) and software development (C, Python)
  • Strong analytical skills for identifying relevant data for requirements
  • Advanced project management skills and organizational abilities to meet deadlines

Language Skills:

  • Fluent in English, German is a plus
