Job Description

Schwarz IT is seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to join our team in Heilbronn, Germany. As a central IT service provider, we are responsible for the selection, provision, operation, and further development of IT infrastructures, IT platforms, and business applications.

Your Role
  • You will be responsible for the conceptualisation and development of AI products with a focus on processing large IoT data streams in real-time using AI.
  • You will combine efficient data streaming tools with innovative data engineering technologies to build a future-proof AIoT architecture.
  • You will programme prototypes and implement them in scalable software components in Python and C++.
  • You will work both independently and as part of a team.
  • You will have the opportunity to take a leading role in the development of a generic software framework for computer vision applications.
Your Profile
  • You already have experience with data streaming technologies, e.g. Kafka.
  • You are proficient in handling and processing large AIoT data streams using modern data engineering technologies.
  • You are able to design future-proof and scalable system architectures for processing IoT time series.
  • You can use tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, DevOps, and Databricks.
  • You can familiarise yourself with different challenges and always have a pragmatic solution in mind.
