Director of Data Science

We are seeking a technically skilled Director of Data Science to join our dynamic Data Science department at AUTO1 Group Technology. As part of our innovative approach in the used car market, our team leverages cutting-edge technology to gather and analyze data, optimizing our platforms and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure our Machine Learning models deliver business impact
  • Collaborate with Data Science Team Leads to develop and allocate resources to impactful projects
  • Motivate team members to develop their maximum potential
  • Identify business opportunities and collaborate with stakeholders and partners in tech
  • Advocate best practices and provide technical expertise in deriving fit-for-purpose solutions
Requirements:
  • Experience in managing teams/departments
  • Proven track record of generating business impact via successfully pushing ML models into production
  • Proficient in predictive Machine Learning models, software engineering practices, and Machine Learning Operations
  • Experience with or ability to quickly adapt to our Tech stack
  • Good business understanding and ability to draw conclusions from A/B test results
