As an Accountant, you will be responsible for general accounting activities, including bookkeeping for separate legal entities, monthly/quarterly closing, and preparing consolidated financial statements according to IFRS and HGB.

- Conducting accounting-related analyses and reconciliations, and supporting the coordination of financial audits.
- Collaborating with various teams to address accounting-related inquiries related to accounts receivable and payable.
- Overseeing, optimizing, and enhancing internal accounting processes.
- Experience with SAP accounting system, Tagetik, and good knowledge in relevant IT applications - MS Excel.
- 3-5 years experience within similar role and ideally within retail/eCommerce sector.
- The degree/ relevant qualification in accounting is essential.
- Experience in accounts receivable (e.g. revenue and expense accounting, payment methods management).
- Knowledge of IFRS and HGB (or other GAAPs).
- Knowledge of fixed assets accounting and IFRS 16.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
- Ownership and solution-oriented mindset.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Fluent in English, German would be a plus.
