Exyte Central Europe GmbH is seeking a highly motivated and experienced EHS Manager to join our team in Stuttgart. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, contractors, and the environment.

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled professional with a strong background in EHS to lead our team in implementing and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Consulting with management, project management, and construction management on EHS topics
  • Coordinating contractor safety managers and safety advisors
  • Functional lead of Exyte Project EHS Advisors and coordinators
  • Supporting the PM and implementing the EHS basic values of Exyte
  • Preparing and providing contractually required documentation in the scope of EHS
  • Organizing weekly safety coordination meetings and recording and communicating the results and tracking of actions
  • Collaborating with local authorities
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Successfully completed education/studies as Master/Technician/Engineer
  • First professional experience in the field of EHS in major industrial, construction, or manufacturing industries
  • Demonstrated ability to work in teams of different cultural backgrounds, hierarchical levels, and skill sets
  • Formal EHS qualification (SiFa, Nebosh, Safety degree, etc.)
  • Good knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite and Sharepoint
  • High assertiveness, high social competence
  • Very good German skills, good English skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel and stay on site over longer time-period
