Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled researcher to join our team at the Fraunhofer Institute for Environmental, Safety, and Energy Technology UMSICHT. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting a thesis research project on the optimization of a vertical pyrolysis plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement optimization measures to maximize the desired yield of the pyrolysis plant
  • Conduct test campaigns in shift operation to evaluate the effectiveness of the optimization measures
  • Derive and implement optimization measures for plant operation to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Prepare and analyze test results to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement process parameters for optimized plant control
  • Elaborate and visualize the results of the research project
Requirements
  • Class B driver's license
  • Excellent language skills in German and English
  • Enthusiasm, commitment, and ability to work independently
