Our unique platform enables renewable technology providers to offer embedded financing options to their customers and also manage their own working capital, allowing more individuals and businesses to install solar, battery storage, electric vehicle charging stations, and heat pumps and become independent energy providers.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager to join our team and contribute to the development of our finance function across key segments: Portfolio Management & Data Analysis and Credit & Underwriting.
As a Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for setting the portfolio management strategy and processes required to scale Cloover, managing a team of analysts that will support the daily management of the customer credit portfolio, including calculating and monitoring exposures, refinancing, hedging, and treasury operations.
You will also help lead the development of new financial products and simulate the outcomes of financial products and scenarios, as well as assist in developing relevant KPIs and data points for the marketing, sales, and finance departments within Cloover.
Additionally, you will be responsible for improving and monitoring the credit evaluation of Cloover's customers and partners, managing origination, underwriting, performance reports, and delinquencies, and assessing outcomes and conducting scenario testing.
Requirements- Minimum 5 years of experience in a fast-paced financial environment such as Fintech, investment banking, private debt/equity funds, or financial consulting.
- Experience in the credit sector, including areas like consumer loans, BNPL (Buy Now, Pay Later), structured finance, or debt capital markets.
- Basic technical understanding and ability to do some programming.
- Ready to take a hands-on approach to work while also aiming to develop into a leadership position over the next few months.

- Fluent in English and ideally German.
