About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Freight Coordinator to join our team at LOGISTIC PEOPLE (Deutschland) GmbH. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for coordinating outgoing main runs, collaborating closely with charter dispatch, and ensuring maximum utilization of consolidated goods routes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage the movement of goods from our warehouse to our customers
  • Work closely with our charter dispatch team to ensure smooth and efficient transportation
  • Optimize our logistics operations to minimize costs and maximize efficiency
  • Handle all aspects of truck processing, including paperwork and documentation
  • Purchase freight space on the spot market to meet our customers' needs
  • Participate in projects to improve our logistics operations and processes

Requirements

  • Completed training as a freight forwarder or equivalent experience
  • Experience in dispatch, preferably of main runs
  • Strong understanding of system routes and logistics operations
  • Excellent geographical knowledge and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
