Creative Writing Strategist

We are seeking a seasoned writing strategist to join our Product Discovery & Promotion team based out of the Berlin office, helping bring our exciting content from DACH, Nordics, and Benelux (DNB) to our members through impactful synopsis writing.
Responsibilities:- Oversee the creative writing of title-related copy (synopses, key art copy, etc) representing our content from our DNB markets to members around the world.
- Create and supervise creative briefs for external vendors working on priority titles.
- Contribute to innovation initiatives and give feedback to continuously improve writing tools and workflow.
- Share context around specific markets and initiatives with cross-functional partners and Managing Editors.
- Audit and provide feedback on writing tasks executed by external partners.
- Interpret and analyze data on writing tasks to deeply understand local and regional member preferences and develop creative hypotheses based on obtained insight.
- Profound experience in writing and editing in creative spaces, such as consumer-focused copywriting, short-form digital, scriptwriting or entertainment journalism.
- Full native fluency in English and German (written and spoken).
- Strong business acumen and proven stakeholder management skills.
- A nuanced perspective on EMEA media.
- Collaborative and self-motivated working style.
- Mastery of AP style.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Outstanding communication skills.
- Fluency in other languages from the Nordics or Benelux markets is a plus (Swedish, Dutch, Danish, Flemish, French, or others).
- Recently published examples of film/television criticism or culture writing.
- Experience working with global brands.
- Experience with AB testing.
