Product Management Intern for Consumer Industries

What you'll do

As a Product Management Intern for Consumer Industries, you'll be responsible for conducting market and competitor analysis to identify trends and strategies across consumer industries. Your findings will help inform our product strategies and shape our product roadmap.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Market and Competitor Analysis: Conduct thorough research to identify trends and analyze competitor strategies and capabilities across consumer industries.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports on your research findings to inform our product strategies.
  • Synthesize Partner Feedback: Collaborate closely with internal teams to collect and synthesize feedback from partners to ensure our product development aligns with broader market needs.
  • Support Solution Prototyping: Assist in the development of prototypes by providing researched insights into market needs and potential product features.
  • Collaborate on Best Practices: Work with the team to refine and enhance our approach to gathering and utilizing market intelligence.
  • Continuous Learning: Engage in team discussions and educational opportunities to expand your knowledge of consumer industries.

Who you are:

You are a student at a university or a university of applied sciences. We're looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

Preferred fields of study: Computer Science, Business Administration or similar

Language skills: business fluent in English

Soft skills: team player, excellent analytical skills, creative and solution-oriented

Some experience in professional software development or product management would be a plus

Note for Germany: currently the SAP Internship Experience Program is only open to interns and being hired into other contract types such as working students will preclude the candidate's participation in the program.
