Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Refractory Senior Supervisor to join our team at thyssenkrupp Uhde Engineering Services GmbH. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for managing projects up to 500,000 euros in the area of refractory work and structural steelwork worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Manage construction work projects in consultation with department management and project management.
  • Representation: Represent the company and contracts within and outside the company as required for construction work.
  • Client Communication: Present the tkUES scope of services to the customer.
  • Site Assessment: Conduct plant visits and inspections, assess refractory linings and structural steelwork at the client's site to assess the situation and plan the job site under guidance.
  • Contract Review: Familiarise yourself with the terms of contract and all types of documentation for implementation planning.
  • Design and Planning: Prepare design variants and discuss them and their technical and commercial impact with the superior and the project management.
  • Construction Planning: Plan and structure construction work in cooperation with the project management.
  • Team Leadership: Provide functional guidance to the staff assigned to the job site.
  • Quality and Safety: Cooperate with the department and maintain quality standards, comply with and enforce health, safety, and environment protection regulations.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in refractory work and structural steelwork, excellent project management skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
