Job Title: SPS – Programmer Plant Technology

We are seeking a skilled SPS – Programmer Plant Technology to join our Electrical Engineering Group Software Engineering Plant Technology team.

Your Tasks:
  • Develop and implement PLC control systems and visualizations for our plant and process control systems.
  • Create standard libraries and project-specific special functions within the corresponding systems.
  • Maintain and further develop our software solutions within the product life cycle.
  • Realize software function tests and ensure the quality of our software solutions.
  • Produce technical documentation in German and English.
  • Perform parameterization and adjustment work on electrical components.
  • Handle technical questions from different manufacturing sites.
  • Support and instruct service technicians and provide occasional support during start-ups.
Your Profile:
  • You hold a degree in electrical engineering/automation technology or a qualification as a state-certified electrical engineering technician/electrical engineer.
  • You have good knowledge concerning the programming of control modules (Beckhoff/Siemens/Rockwell).
  • You have experience regarding the programming safety control systems and fail-safe PLC solutions.
  • You are interested in creating SCADA solutions, preferably WinCC and Aveva InTouch/ArchestrA.
  • You work independently, structured, and target-oriented.
  • You possess good communication skills and team spirit with experience in working with international and interdisciplinary teams.
  • You have a good command of the English language.
  • You are willing to do international business trips.
