Job Opportunity for Android Application Developers

Our client, a leading e-commerce company in Germany, is seeking an experienced Android Application Developer to join their team. As an Android Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving innovative services and features for their Android client SDK.

About the Role

  • Design and implement innovative services and features for the Android client SDK
  • Design, document, and continuously improve the performance of the Android Client SDK
  • Work directly with product managers in an agile work environment
  • Maintain a strong focus on testability and test coverage across the platform
  • Collaborate with other product-focused teams to build innovative customer experiences

Requirements

  • 2 years of commercial experience in Android development
  • Knowledge of Android, Kotlin, JetPack compose, and best practices
  • Openness to experimenting and discussing new solutions within the team
  • Some experience with building SDKs and/or JNI is beneficial
  • Open mindset, desire to continuously develop yourself and learn new technologies
  • Fluent in written and spoken English (German is a bonus)
