Project Procurement Manager

As a Project Procurement Manager in Braunschweig, you'll play a crucial role in securing suppliers' QCD performances align with project objectives. You'll be the work package owner and interface between project and sourcing teams.

We're looking for a result-driven and cooperative individual with international experience. You'll manage the sourcing activity, ensure QCD targets are met, and participate in the project management committee.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring QCD targets are met for WP material under your responsibility
  • Participating in the project management committee
  • Encompassing PSCL output in the overall project picture
  • Promoting the Alstom Code of Ethics and adhering to high standards of ethical conduct

You'll also communicate project needs, organize launch meetings, challenge new gaps, and facilitate cooperation between engineering and sourcing teams.

Requirements include:

  • Master's degree in purchasing or equivalent
  • Interest in technical fields
  • 5 years of experience in project, sourcing, engineering, or quality roles
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment
  • Communication skills and team spirit
  • Ability to challenge and results-oriented
  • Rigorous and structured approach
  • International mindset and fluency in English and German
