Your Studies

Are you looking for a unique opportunity to combine theoretical knowledge with practical experience? Our dual studies programme in business administration offers the perfect blend of academic learning and hands-on experience.

As a student in our programme, you will be integrated into the operational work of an international foreign trade company, HELM AG. At the same time, you will acquire theoretical knowledge at the Hamburg School of Business Administration (HSBA).

The programme takes 3 years, with six semesters of 10 weeks each spent at the University of Applied Sciences. During this time, you will have the opportunity to learn about all key areas of HELM AG in the practical part, as well as acquire the theoretical knowledge of a business administration course.

Your Profile

To be eligible for this apprenticeship, you should have:

  • Very good A-levels
  • Good German and English language skills, as well as basic knowledge of one other foreign language
  • Basic mathematical understanding
  • Interest in business issues
  • Commitment and high flexibility
  • Team capability, strong communication skills, and being open-minded
