User Assistance Developer Technical Writer

We're looking for a skilled Technical Writer to join our team at SAP.

As a User Assistance Developer/Technical Writer, you'll play a crucial role in creating high-quality documentation for our customers. You'll work closely with our development teams to understand the product and its features, and then communicate this information to our users in a clear and concise manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop documentation for SAP Cloud ALM, including application help, in-app help, user interface texts, and how-to videos.
  • Collaborate with product management, user experience, and software development teams to ensure cross-product consistency.
  • Work in an agile Scrum mode, with daily updates and frequent exchanges with the team.
  • Contribute to the central UA team, ensuring that our documentation is consistent and of high quality.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience in technical writing in IT.
  • Degree in English studies or English native speaker with excellent writing skills.
  • Fluent in German, with experience in checking German translations.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience with GitHub is a plus.
  • Experience with agile/Scrum development teams is a plus.
