Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team at REWE. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the financial transactions of our independent REWE retailers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and record financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide financial analysis and reporting to management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in financial accounting.
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Knowledge of SAP FI is an asset.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
