Regional Digital Transformation Lead for German GT Fleet

Drive Digital Transformation in German GT Fleet

As a key member of Uniper's German GT Fleet team, you will play a crucial role in driving digital transformation and representing the company in group-wide digitalization projects. Your primary objective will be to initiate digital cultural change and foster a digital mindset within Uniper.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Refine Digital Transformation Vision: Collaborate with stakeholders to establish a clear vision and targets for digital transformation in the German GT Fleet operations business.
  • Support Digital Solution Adoption: Assist in the adoption of existing digital solutions across all relevant GT sites, ensuring seamless integration and maximum benefit.
  • Identify and Develop Digital Solutions: Work closely with GT Fleet teams to identify areas for digital solutions and convert digital ideas into actionable projects, considering cost-benefit ratios.
  • Align Target Setting: Ensure that target setting (Plant Improvement Plants, site Big Rocks) is aligned across all sites, avoiding duplication and ensuring a unified approach.
  • Resolve Time Conflicts: Help find solutions for time conflicts between digital product development and outage management, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Coach and Train Colleagues: Coach central GT Fleet colleagues and sites to develop their own transformation solutions and train employees on new tools and methods.
  • Support IT and OT Collaboration: Foster collaboration between IT and OT/asset operation communities to drive mutual growth and understanding.
  • Encourage Innovation: Promote innovative thinking and digital ideation, analyzing technical processes to derive digital optimization potential in close cooperation with local experts.
  • Lead Digitalization Initiatives: Actively support and coordinate digitalization initiatives, such as process automation, digital operation/maintenance, data analytics and visualization, digital customer experience, etc.
  • Represent Uniper in Digitalization Projects: Represent German GT Fleet in digitalization projects within Uniper group, contributing to corporate digitalization projects and serving as an interface to the COODE Organization.
  • Create Awareness and Facilitate Contact: Create awareness of digital opportunities available in the COODE Program portfolio, facilitate contact with the COODE delivery team, and exchange best practices.
  • Build Internal and Cross-Company Networks: Build internal and cross-company networks, participate actively in relevant communities to scout innovative digital trends and new business models.
  • Drive Cultural Change: Drive cultural change by introducing New Ways of Working and promoting a share culture, agile working frameworks, and training employees on new digital tools and methods.
  • Support Digital Competency Development: Support digital competency development, especially the development of product owners.
  • Organize Internal Communication: Organize the internal communication of digitalization projects and activities.
