Job Title: Film Editing Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Film Editing Assistant to join our team at Creative City Berlin. As a Film Editing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our editors and post-production team in the creation of high-quality films.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist editors in managing editing facilities and coordinating tasks
  • Help create trailers and excerpts for marketing purposes
  • Coordinate test screenings and prepare transcripts of discussions
  • Deliver film elements to distributors and improve film material
  • Create and review subtitles and dialogue lists
Requirements:
  • Native or fluent English speaker with excellent command of German and/or French
  • Cinephile with interest in film analysis and ability to formalize ideas
  • Flexible to work outside regular business hours and able to handle tight deadlines
  • Proficient in AVID, Premiere, and After Effect; experience with DaVinci Resolve and/or Final Cut Pro a plus
  • Able to demonstrate experience in film industry and interest in film sales company operations
