Position Overview:

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and executing projects within the technology solutions sector, ensuring that all objectives are met on time and within budget.

The role involves managing resources and coordinating efforts among team members and external partners to achieve project goals effectively.

Specific Duties Include:

  • Defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with organizational standards.
  • Creating comprehensive project plans and communication documents.
  • Regularly updating stakeholders on project progress and addressing any issues promptly.
  • Preparing accurate financial forecasts and managing budget variances.
  • Maximizing project profitability through effective resource management.
  • Leading and mentoring project team members to foster accountability and performance.
  • Building and maintaining essential business relationships for project success.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety policies throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Documenting incidents and maintaining quality standards.
  • Managing inventory efficiently to support project requirements.
  • Ensuring all equipment is properly maintained and safe for use.
  • Promoting environmental awareness among team members.
  • Conducting post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
  • Addressing personnel issues with discretion and respect.
  • Supporting staff development and performance evaluations.
  • Leading special projects as needed.
  • Implementing data security management practices in accordance with industry standards.

Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Demonstrated experience in project management.
  • Background in the IT sector.
  • Strong understanding of project delivery methodologies.
  • Proficient in managing project contracts and deliverables.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with PRINCE2 and OGC project processes.
  • Ability to organize and lead multi-disciplinary teams.
