Financial Accounting Intern / Working Student (f/m/d)

As a Financial Accounting Intern, you will assist the team with various financial activities supporting the daily running of the department. You will be a key contributor in ensuring the accuracy of our financial records for previous years, working directly with Finance colleagues and the leadership team.

You will need to be analytical, structured, and a team player who is attentive to details, prioritizing tasks when working towards finance deadlines. Integrity, a practical 'can do' mindset, and good communication skills are essential. Practical expertise in bookkeeping is preferred, and an accounting qualification is beneficial.

Your Responsibilities
  • Perform data cleansing activities on historical data, especially bank accounts in the financial system.
  • Assist with the application of invoices within the vendors process: reviewing payment of invoices and correctly recording transactions.
  • Assist with the preparation of yearly financial statements.
  • Be part of the implementation of a monthly reporting package.
Requirements

We're looking for a candidate with a can-do mindset and eagerness to provide accuracy in an efficient manner. Ideally, you have practical experience in accounting and bookkeeping. You should be able to be accountable and make clear decisions. Experience using an ERP system is a plus. A self-starter attitude with a high personal drive is essential, as you will be part of rapid growth and will not be afraid to get your hands dirty.

Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of German is a plus.
