About the Apprenticeship

Hosokawa Alpine is a leading special machine construction company with a rich history of innovation and excellence. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as an apprenticeship in precision machining.

As a cutting machine operator apprentice, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment. You will work closely with our experienced trainers and technicians to gain hands-on experience in operating and maintaining cutting machines.

During your apprenticeship, you will learn the fundamentals of precision machining, including turning, milling, filing, sawing, and drilling. You will also develop your skills in CNC milling/turning, setup, tool presetting, and quality control.

Responsibilities

  • Manufacture precision parts and assemblies using processes such as turning or milling
  • Program, set up, and operate CNC machine tools
  • Handle the control technology of the machines and monitor the production process

Requirements

  • Completed middle school with good grades in technical subjects such as math, physics, and crafts/technology
  • Diligence and a sense of responsibility are essential for this role
  • Technical understanding and skills are required
  • A little bit of English is beneficial, as some technical drawings and terms may be in English
