Position Summary

Generate Category & Shopper Insights for Batteries, Flashlights, and Car Care Products and support company goals through targeted presentations and management reports.

Responsibilities

  • Verification and preparation of Nielsen market data for Germany & Switzerland, as well as close operational cooperation with local Nielsen contact partners.
  • Regular creation of management reports for Germany & Switzerland for Nielsen Retail Panel Services and Focus Online Handzettel-Tracking.
  • Customer-oriented expansion of insights through the expansion of data into new segments (Flashlights, Car Fragrances, Car Care).
  • Support of the Sales Team with (pitch-) presentations, shelf layouts, and individual analyses for existing customers as well as potential new customers.
  • Development of strategic Category Management documents for the Sales Team (annual meeting documents, category presentations, competition overview, etc.).
  • Annual preparation and implementation of the Nielsen Annual Presentation for the internal Sales/Marketing.

Requirements

  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Well-developed communication, presentation, and influence skills.
  • Sound knowledge of the FMCG sector and market analysis with Nielsen and POS data.
  • Solution-oriented, self-responsible action in a young, dynamic team.
  • Experience in Category Management in a FMCG company.
  • Knowledge of German retail structures is advantageous.
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Project management experience is advantageous.
  • German as mother tongue; very good English skills.
