Lead SAP BASIS Solution Architect

At PHOENIX International Holdings GmbH, we are seeking a highly skilled Lead SAP BASIS Solution Architect to join our PHOENIX Competence Centre IT & Digital team.

This is a unique opportunity to work with a market-leading pharmaceutical retailer in Germany and the best integrated healthcare provider in Europe.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop SAP system architecture in collaboration with infrastructure and BASIS teams.
  • Manage SAP archiving processes and develop content management strategies to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Provide technical leadership to a team of SAP BASIS administrators and mentor team members in best practices and effective problem-solving techniques.
  • Oversee and perform all aspects of SAP BASIS administration, including system installations, upgrades, configurations, and patch management.
  • Engage with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into SAP technical solutions.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in SAP BASIS administration, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or architectural role.
  • Deep knowledge of SAP BASIS, including SAP NetWeaver, S/4HANA, SAP Solution Manager, and other SAP components.
  • Experience with SAP archiving and content management, specifically using SARA and IBM Content Manager or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of SAP system landscapes, databases, and operating systems.
  • Experience with SAP Java stack and SAP BTP highly desired.
