Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Global Product Development Manager to join our team at Sysmex Europe SE. As the regional headquarters for the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region, we are dedicated to providing essential products that help people worldwide on their healthcare journey.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement product lifecycle management strategies for 3rd party products within our Sysmex Life Science product portfolio, focusing on oncology with a special emphasis on breast and colorectal cancers.
  • Drive conceptual design, business planning, and the implementation of product launches and market expansion in the EMEA region.
  • Define marketing strategies, conduct market research, develop customer/market segmentation, value proposition, positioning, and associated sales/marketing tools.
  • Monitor and analyze product performance, customer feedback, and market trends to drive continuous improvement and collaborate closely with 3rd party suppliers to improve product features, specifications, and requirements.
  • Support our EMEA affiliates and distributors in achieving commercial targets by collaborating with the Life Science Team for pre- and post-launch actions.
  • Assist/Collaborate with the Application Specialist in product demonstrations and trainings in a laboratory setting.
  • E nsure that product updates, complaint handling, and post-marketing surveillance are handled efficiently and effectively.
  • Closely collaborate with shared services (Supply Chain Management, MarCom, Regulatory Affairs, Legal Affairs, Quality Management, Finance) to ensure smooth business flow and expansion.
  • Take responsibility for marketing-related collaboration with 3rd party suppliers.
  • Develop and conduct internal product and sales training.
  • Represent our products at congresses and events in the EMEA region.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Academic degree in international business, marketing, natural sciences, medical science, or equivalent.
  • More than 5 years of relevant professional experience with a focus on product marketing or sales.
  • Knowledge in the field of healthcare, ideally laboratory diagnostic market (IVD), is a plus.
  • Excellent command of English; knowledge of other European languages is advantageous.
  • Creative and innovative team player with a hands-on mindset and ability to handle complex situations with creativity and problem-solving competency.
  • Highly analytical, structured, and proactive work style combined with the willingness to develop a new business field.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and teaching skills.
  • Willingness to travel in the EMEA region.

The estimated salary for this position is €80,000 - €120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a competitive compensation package that includes additional benefits such as a comprehensive health insurance plan, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
