Job Description

We are looking for a Test Engineer Working Student to work closely with our product manager and the development team to shape and implement our platform. The goal is to make personal safety intuitive and accessible to every person on the planet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and execution of test plans, test cases, and test scripts specifically for mobile applications (iOS and Android).
  • Ensure testability of our user stories from acceptance tests to release.
  • Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Perform manual testing on mobile devices to identify, document, and track software defects.
  • Conduct regression testing to verify that new features or bug fixes have not introduced new issues.
  • Participate in tech meetings and contribute to the overall testing process with fresh insights and ideas.
  • Automate tests where possible.
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of software testing methodologies and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a keen eye for spotting even the smallest issues.
  • Some experience in mobile app development or a solid technical understanding of how mobile apps work.
  • Programming knowledge in a scripting language and experience with automated testing tools is a plus.
  • Based around Munich and fluent in English (German is a plus).
