Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive growth and revenue in the assigned territory.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and prospects to understand their scientific research needs and identify opportunities for Discovery Life Sciences.
  • Collaborate with scientific SMEs to develop and pitch Preclinical portfolio of products and services to customers and prospects.
  • Attend key conferences and local tradeshows to network and build relationships with potential customers.
  • Coordinate large, strategic meetings between customer's senior scientific leadership and appropriate Company leadership to win large-scale projects with substantial revenue potential.
  • Present and help evaluate the workability of client projects with Discovery Life Sciences' product management, project management, production, scientific leadership, 3rd party distribution partners, and internal and external collaborators.
  • Productively manage an opportunity pipeline (75+ open opportunities) with updated next steps and feedback from customers.
  • Consistently advance calls and win business by setting clear next steps and properly executing them.
  • Report market intel back to team by documenting sales calls and client feedback.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of eight (8) years of biotech-related sales experience required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of ADME-Tox-related sales experience preferred.
  • Motivation to communicate directly with potential clients via both e-mail and phone.
  • Ability to build and nurture relationships with clients and potential clients.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Excellent computer skills to include Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Google Docs.
  • Must be fluent in English.
