About the Role

We are seeking two Firefighter Trainees to join our team at the Fire and Rescue Station in Monheim am Rhein. As a Firefighter Trainee, you will be responsible for responding to emergency situations, providing fire suppression and rescue services, and participating in training exercises to develop your skills and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to emergency calls and provide fire suppression and rescue services
  • Participate in training exercises to develop your skills and knowledge
  • Work collaboratively with other firefighters to achieve team goals
  • Conduct regular equipment checks and maintenance
  • Participate in community outreach and education programs
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Successful completion of a fire service training program
  • Excellent physical fitness and ability to pass a medical examination
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Valid driver's license
  • Citizenship of an EU member state or other eligible country
