About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled research associate to join our team at Fraunhofer IWES. As a research associate, you will be involved in the development of new scientific approaches for models simulating risks in offshore decommissioning projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review literature to stay up-to-date on current developments in the field
  • Implement developed models into a software tool, with a focus on evaluating data and conducting case scenarios to test the software
  • Ensure the software is accurate and reliable by documenting methods, preparing comprehensive reports, and summarizing research findings

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a master's degree program studying Engineering, ideally with a focus on Wind Energy, or Industrial Engineering
  • Great programming skills in Python
  • Experience in analyzing data and modeling simulations is a plus
  • Fluent communication in English
