Job Summary:

Viega GmbH & Co. KG is seeking a skilled Operativer Einkäufer (m/w/d) to join our team. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability of assigned articles, identifying procurement needs, and coordinating with suppliers and production teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the availability of assigned articles and manage inventory levels
  • Identify procurement needs and negotiate with suppliers
  • Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely delivery of materials
  • Monitor and control incoming invoices and ensure accurate payment processing
  • Collaborate with the strategic purchasing team, suppliers, and logistics teams to optimize procurement processes
  • Manage and optimize material data in SAP
  • Develop and maintain reports, protocols, and presentations to support business decisions
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and contribute to process improvements

Requirements:

  • Completed education in industrial purchasing or a related field
  • Proficiency in MS Office and SAP
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Good English language skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
