Job Title: Development Manager

OlamAid e.V. is a leading international aid organization based in Berlin, dedicated to delivering impactful humanitarian programs worldwide. Our mission is to support communities as they transition from crisis to recovery, rehabilitation, and sustainable living.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Development Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key leadership role in shaping and executing OlamAid's growth strategy, overseeing the development and expansion of strategic partnerships, securing diverse funding streams, and elevating OlamAid's visibility across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership to the Development team, aligning their efforts with OlamAid's overall mission and objectives.
  • Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive fundraising strategy, focusing on diversifying funding sources from private donors, foundations, governmental bodies, and corporate partners.
  • Build and nurture strategic partnerships with public institutions, foundations, and corporate entities to enhance OlamAid's impact.
  • Oversee the strategic direction of OlamAid's external communications to enhance its visibility across digital platforms and media outlets.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a leadership role within fundraising, communications, or business development, ideally in the non-profit or humanitarian sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing multi-faceted fundraising and communications strategies at a high level.
  • Experience managing relationships with high-profile donors, government bodies, and corporate partners.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to guide complex initiatives from concept to completion.
  • Excellent communication skills in both German (C1 level written and spoken) and English.
