Key Responsibilities:

As a member of the strategy & portfolio team for Europe & RoW markets, this position will be responsible for building the portfolio pipeline and driving profitable growth in generics portfolio.

Key Assignments:

  • Develop strategy proposals for future pipeline products as well as product life cycle management initiatives to ensure robust Generics pipeline.
  • Translate BU long-term strategy into mid-term activity plans & drive realization.
  • Responsible for portfolio management – identification, recommendation, managing New Project Approval (NPA) process, monitoring & supporting the development phase, timely regulatory submissions for successful commercialization and Life cycle management of key products in coordination with cross functional teams.
  • Identify new in-licensing opportunities with support of BD team and valuate them as an input in Fresenius Kabi ́s decision process.
  • Provide Strategic marketing support including marketing material, launch kits, product training.
  • Responsible to perform the following tasks related to assigned European and RoW markets: Portfolio Gap fill review / analysis and identify opportunities New Product Ideas (patent expiry, gap analysis, external offers, etc.) Product Life Cycle Management initiatives Geographical Portfolio rollout projects.

Requirements:

  • Master Degree (MBA or equivalent) AND / OR pharmaceutical / medical degree is required.
  • You bring at least 5 years work experience in Generics portfolio management within an international Matrix driven organisation in the healthcare industry.
  • You have ideally in addition minimum of 3 years Commercial experience preferably with P&L responsibility and / or a Sales / Marketing function in key EU market/s.
  • You have strong business and commercial acumen and a good understanding of key therapeutic areas.
  • You have excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • You are a strong team player.
  • You are solution oriented with balancing strategic thinking and strong execution sense.
  • You bring advanced excel knowledge.
  • You are well organised while being reactive and having the sense of urgency.
